A California-based utility company has awarded a Tier 1 Source Contract to Rokstad Power, for the North Coast region. The contract carries a two-year term with a one-year option.
In 2017, Rokstad began working for the utility as a Tier 2 contractor. Rokstad opened the doors to its California headquarters in Perris, set up a yard in Ontario, hired a crew and had the first set of trucks delivered. Since then, the power line contractor has delivered exceptional customer service and quality work to the utility and its customers.
“Thanks to our team’s resilience, commitment to safety and outstanding performance for this utility, we were able to win the Tier 1 Source Contract,” said Aaron Rokstad, CEO of Rokstad Power. “It’s amazing to think of the progress we’ve made since we signed our first contract with them. Our work for them was a major influence in Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) selecting Rokstad as an alliance contractor in 2019.”
Rokstad has grown to more than 400 employees operating throughout California.
