THE PROJECT
In early April 2016, several areas of Massachusetts were hit with a spring snow storm that brought 4 to 6 inches of heavy wet snow and ice. The accompanying winds gusting up to 70mph brought down trees and poles and downed power lines in several counties west of Boston.
Rokstad Power mobilized a team from New York to the affected areas including 23 linemen, 10 bucket trucks and 2 diggers. The crews worked in the Marlborough and Foxboro regions to repair poles and downed lines with some crews working long into the night to restore power to affected customers.
