THE PROJECT

In September 2017, Rokstad Power was called out to provide storm response in Southwest Florida. When Hurricane Irma hit, it resulted in floods and widespread power outages across the region. Rokstad Power mobilized approximately 15 crews from Canada to assist American crews in power restoration throughout Tampa Bay, Sebring and St. Petersburg, Florida. Crews were out for about three weeks working under Duke Energy’s direction.
