THE PROJECT
In 2020, California set a record for most acres burned in a single year, eclipsing 4 million. These fires caused severe damage to PG&E’s power grid in Central and Northern California. Rokstad was tasked with securing numerous crews and tools, mobilizing to the affected areas, and restoring the grid to working order. These emergency responses require concerted efforts across all Rokstad departments.
- Glass Fire – Napa/Sonoma County – 67,200 Acres burned
- Zogg Fire – Shasta County – 56,338 Acres burned
- LNU (Complex) Fire – Various counties in Northern California – 363,220 Acres burned
- Carmel Fire – Monterey County – 6,905 Acres burned
