Brucejack Transmission Line
LOCATION: Stewart, BC
COMPLETION DATE: March 2017
Rokstad Power was contracted to construct an approximately 57km long 138kV OH Transmission Line for the Brucejack Mine, near Stewart BC. The single circuit 138 kV Brucejack transmission line comprises of three sections as follows:
◎ Approximately 1.3 km long segment between the existing Long Lake Transmission Line (1L403) and the new Brucejack Terminal (BJT) Station;
◎ Approximately 41 km long segment between the new Brucejack Terminal (BJT) Station and the new Knipple Glacier Substation (KNG);
◎ Approximately 14.5 km long segment (to be operated at 69 kV) between the new Knipple Glacier Substation (KNG) and the Brucejack Mine Substation (BJK).
