THE PROJECT

Rokstad Power was contracted to complete work on BC Hydro circuit 60L129 in order to upgrade the line rating. This included over 300 structure replacements as well as the completions of various identified circuit deficiencies including broken insulators and cross arms, full tension automatic splice replacements and conductor to ground clearance issues. A dual purpose of the uprating is to allow for fibre optic (ADSS) to be run to the remote communities on the West Coast of Vancouver Island (BC, Canada).
