September 21st – Employees from power line construction and maintenance company Rokstad Power will make a positive difference during Sustainability Week happening September 26 to 30 by volunteering at God’s Little Acre farm.
Volunteers will act as farm assistants and pick food, set up a market, water plants, move dirt and more.
God’s Little Acre is a local farm located at 16583 – 40th Avenue in Surrey, British Columbia. The farm has committed to growing pesticide-free local produce with a goal of attaining enough of a profit to donate local fresh produce to those in need.

July 20, 2016 – Through a joint venture with Emera Utility Services (EUS), Nova Scotia Power Maritime Link Inc. (NSPML) has selected Rokstad Power to complete the construction of the High Voltage Direct Current (HVdc) transmission line for the Maritime Link Project.
The work, to take place in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, involves construction of foundations and anchors, tower assembly and erection, and conductor stringing. Rokstad Power will work on the 140km portion in Newfoundland; with partner EUS completing the 45km section in Nova Scotia.

A team of six journeymen and two apprentices are heading to Calgary on July 16, 2016 for the “other rodeo” in town. Running at the same time as the Calgary Stampede, the annual ENMAX Lineman Rodeo and Safety Expo, in its fifth year, will include American teams in addition to several Canadian-based competitors. This event gives Rokstad Power an opportunity to showcase the technical and physical abilities of their journeyman staff.

Employees from Rokstad Power hit the path to better health on May 25. They joined a 300,000-strong legion of workers worldwide and will walk, cycle, swim, skip or even salsa their way through the Global Corporate Challenge (GCC), a global employee health and performance program.
