Rokstad Power has been contracted to construct approximately 57km of 138kV overhead transmission line to supply power to the Brucejack Mine, near Stewart, BC. The Engineering and Procurement services for the Project are provided by Stantec Consulting Ltd.
The single circuit 138 kV Brucejack Transmission Line comprises of three sections as follows:
- A 1.3 km segment between the existing Long Lake Transmission Line (1L403) and the new Brucejack Terminal Station (BJT)
- A 41 km segment between the new Brucejack Terminal Station (BJT) and the new Knipple Glacier Substation (KNG)
- A 14.5 km segment (to be operated at 69 kV) between the new Knipple Glacier Substation (KNG) and the Brucejack Mine Substation (BJK)
