The 33rd Annual International Lineman’s Rodeo will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Rokstad Power is sending two teams along with two apprentices to compete in the exciting event.
The Lineman’s Rodeo attracts the best lineman from around the world to compete in events based on traditional lineman tasks. The first Lineman’s Rodeo was held in September 1984, with twelve participating teams from Kansas and Missouri. September 21st – Employees from power line construction and maintenance company Rokstad Power will make a positive difference during Sustainability Week happening September 26 to 30 by volunteering at God’s Little Acre farm.
Volunteers will act as farm assistants and pick food, set up a market, water plants, move dirt and more.
God’s Little Acre is a local farm located at 16583 – 40th Avenue in Surrey, British Columbia. The farm has committed to growing pesticide-free local produce with a goal of attaining enough of a profit to donate local fresh produce to those in need.

July 20, 2016 – Through a joint venture with Emera Utility Services (EUS), Nova Scotia Power Maritime Link Inc. (NSPML) has selected Rokstad Power to complete the construction of the High Voltage Direct Current (HVdc) transmission line for the Maritime Link Project.
The work, to take place in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, involves construction of foundations and anchors, tower assembly and erection, and conductor stringing. Rokstad Power will work on the 140km portion in Newfoundland; with partner EUS completing the 45km section in Nova Scotia.
